// Saturday
morning we ate breakfast at Saintbury’s, because the kitchen in the house is
being renovated. We got a “Big Breakfast”
with eggs, beans, hash browns, ham, tomatoes and toast bread.
After finishing our breakfast, we drove to Brighton. We hoped that we could get our bus passes the same day, but because of a lot of hassle, we had to go back in next week. Instead we stayed in Churchill Square (a shopping centre in Brighton), while the parents went home. We stayed in the centre for a couple of hours, before we took the 1,5 hour bus ride back home to Tunbridge Wells.
Today, Sunday, it was a lovely weather, but I didn’t
have any plans to begin with. My host sister was off to London and the other
girl from Italy was going to her real host family after lunch.
I then went with the neighbours exchange students, Francesca (Italy) and Henriette (Germany), to The Pantiles Food Festival. There were lots of good food and sweets from different countries. I had not had dinner, so I bought a Chicken Samosa and a carrot cake. When we finished eating, we sat on a hill and enjoyed the fine weather.
