// This
Saturday I was in the cinema in Uckfield. We weren’t actually meant to go
there, but since the weather wasn’t that good, we decided to go. We all really
wants to watch the new The Hunger Games film, (which we will do as soon as it
is released in the cinemas), but for now we decided to watch a film called
Brooklyn. This historical period drama film, starring Saoirose Ronan, Emory
Cohen and Domhnall Gleeson and more, is based on Colm Tóibín’s novel of the
same name. It is about a young Irish immigrant who navigates her way through
1950’s Brooklyn.
The film turned out to be really good, so it is definitely a film I would recommend to you, if you like good, romantic and inspiring films. We all also felt like the film somehow referred to us as our current lives as exchange students.

Today,
Sunday, I didn’t have plans, but around 11-ish Christina (Austria), Juliette
(Germany) and I decided to go to Brighton for the day. We stayed a few hours in
the shopping centre and also went to Primark for a bit. I managed to get myself
a pair of jeans from Pull And Bear, which is one of my favourites places to
shop, but unfortunately the shop cannot be found in Denmark.
